Wow where did February go? We have a week left and it feels like it flew by! I’m excited to share this newest challenge with you today! Our challenge is a theme which was animals. Now this challenge was indeed a challenge. I don’t have many stamp sets with animals right now. Only 2 in fact.
I have a project idea for Party Panda stamp set but I wanted to create some more with the cute set called A Good Day! I think the animals in this set are super cute! I decided to make a gift box using our Acetate Boxes. They fit so many goodies inside!
I used a sheet of the Berry Burst paper from the Picture Perfect Party designer series 6×6 pack. I cut it down to fit the box at 5 1/2″ by just under 4 1/2″. I just slid it in there and added my goodies behind it. Then it was time to decorate the front.
I used Berry Burst finely woven ribbon and adhered it with tear tape to the box. I then wrapped the box with the Whisper White organza ribbon and tied it int a small bow.
I die cut a heart from a piece of Lemon Lime Twist card stock using the Sweet & Sassy Heart framelits then embossed it with the Polka Dot embossing folder. I added the heart to the box using Stampin’ Dimensionals over the ends of my Berry Burst ribbon to hide it! hehe
Now for the cute little deer! I stamped it using Memento black ink onto Whisper White card stock. Then I punched it out with our new 1 1/8″ scalloped punch. Then I used the other new scallop punch which is 1 3/8″ punching out some vellum. Lastly I punched out a piece of Berry Burst card stock using the 1 1/2″ circle punch. I layered them all together with Stampin’ Dimensionals then added the whole thing with some tear tape.
My sentiment is Congratulations from the Colorful Seasons stamp set. I used the Classic Label punch to punch it out. I added it with a mini dimensional and tear tape. Time to add some Bling! Added three rhinestones and called it finished!
