Create Along! Live Classes

Create Along! Banner

I’m starting a new series of online classes where you can Create Along! with me!

How Does it Work?

You register and pay for the class by the registration deadline. To register you will fill out a form that asks for your name, email, shipping address and if you want to add anything else to your order. Then I will email you an invoice from PayPal. All payments have to be in by registration deadline.

Then I will place the Stampin’ Up! order in for the supplies. Once the supplies are shipped to me I will prep the supplies for you. That means all the paper will be cut, punched, die cut for you. There will be no stamping done for you, ever! (This is a Stampin’ Up! policy!) Plus wouldn’t you want to be the one stamping and having fun?!

Once everything is prepped then I will ship out your class packages. They will always be sent USPS and have tracking. This lets both you and I know when they will arrive.

I will have a date set for when the Create Along! Live will be. You will then be added to a secret Facebook group where I will do a Facebook Live showing step by step how to put the projects together. During the live you will be able to ask questions about the project.

You’ll be able to post your final creations! I know some people like changing things up a little to make it there own. I love that! I like seeing your creativity!

Create Along!

Here’s my first Create Along! Class I am very excited about because these cards are beautiful and simple to put together! We will be using the Petal Passion Memories & More card pack and shockingly no stamps! I will be demonstrating these 5 cards but you will be able to make 2 of each design.

What you receive: The full pack of Petal Passion Memories & More card pack (only the cards used for the projects will be cut for you). 10 Whisper White Note Cards and envelopes, a full roll of Basic Black Baker’s Twine, a sheet of Stampin’ Dimensionals and a some rhinestones. Plus all the card stock cut to size for the cards and some Powder Pink Shimmer ribbon.

Cost $33 plus $7 shipping
Register Here: Registration Form
Registration is open until Jan 24th!

The Create Along! Live date is projected to be Feb 15th, this may change due to the Petal Passion Memories & More card packs just when on back order. Sad but just goes to show how beautiful the card pack is!

There will also be a giveaway for the Sweet Soiree Memories & More card pack from the Sale-A-Bration brochure (also will include a pdf tutorial).

Other supplies you will need to complete the cards: Scissors, Adhesive (I use liquid Multipurpose Tombow glue), stapler, Wink of Stella (optional but I’d say it adds a lot!), Watercolor pencils (optional I only used on one card and it doesn’t have to be colored).

This class is great for beginners or those that don’t have a lot of time to sit down and design.

Here’s the Facebook Event as well! Create Along! Petal Passion

Ok ok here’s a look at all the cards we’ll be making!

I hope you sign up to join me as I demonstrate these beautiful cards while you Create Along! with me! Don’t forget registration ends Jan 24th!

Have a great week!

Inspire. Create. Challenge #009

This winter has already been brutal! We have had record breaking temperatures into the single digits. That doesn’t normally happen in this area! I was basically hibernating for the last two weeks. Well the sun is out and it has warmed up to our normal temps so time to get moving again! I just hate the cold! It’s hard to get out of bed when it is finally warm and go anywhere.

So thankful it is warmed up some for now. Valentine’s Day will be here sooner than we know it! So what better time to share a beautiful card you could send a loved one. Our newest challenge is Themed: Love!

My card today has been on my mind since I first saw the Occasions catalog! I knew I wanted to create a shaker card with the new Gold Glitter Flakes! They are so much fun to use and shakers are always first thing that comes to mind when you see new glitter!

I used the new Designer Series Paper Painted with Love. It is a specialty paper because on one side there is gold foil used in the designs. The paper is AMAZING!! The pictures in the catalog and online don’t do it just since you can’t see the gold foil.

Check out that gold foil!! Isn’t it just gorgeous? See the Gold Glitter Flakes and this paper are a match made in Paper Crafting Heaven!

To create the shake card I die cut a heart from the Sweet and Sassy framelits set into the Painted with Love designer series paper. Then placed a window sheet to the back of the paper and then added the foam adhesive strips. I set my card base down and added the Gold Glitter Flakes to the area where the window would be and laid the top part of the card on top. I used a Thick Whisper White card stock for my card base.

I cut the outline heart out of Calypso Coral. I did this by using the same heart die as I did for the window plus one larger. The “Love” die cut is from the Petal Passion Memories & More card pack. It was actually “Lovely” and I trimmed off the “ly” so I could just use Love. I heat embossed Gold embossing powder on the Love die cut to make it pop. I added 2 layers of the embossing so that it had a little more dimension. The sentiment is also from the Memories & More card pack.

Then all I needed to do was decide what ribbon I liked with the card best. I tried the Powder Pink Shimmer ribbon but it just didn’t do it for me. So I tried the Basic Black Shimmer ribbon and it was perfect! It gave it same of the contrast I still needed and some extra bling! No more bling added this time. No Rhinestones, no Wink of Stella. There was already enough bling from the paper and Gold Glitter Flakes.

2017 Holiday Catalog, Annual Catalog 2017-2018

Celebrate the End of the Year!

2017 is almost done and I don’t know where the Year went. It flew by faster than any years before! At the end of every year we all look back at the Year to see what we did, the memories we made and the challenges we went through. This year is no different. Let’s celebrate the last couple of days of the year and look forward to the new year with hopefully more stamping!!

The project I created is a banner for a couple that have been very supportive of my parents this year. It was a small thank you since it was their anniversary.

I used the designer series paper Year of Cheer from the Holiday catalog.

IMG_5836 2

Sadly this paper is retiring. Amazingly it is still available in the Year End Sale Event! Click the image below to check out the sale.

I also used the Alphabet framelit dies and some really pretty Pool Party Shimmer Ribbon.

It was very hard to photograph but I love how it turned out. We attached it to their fireplace for when they arrived. I used Dapper Denim for the letters. I punched two hole in the top of the banners. The banner shapes were cut out with the banner framelit dies. I wanted to make sure they were all the same size.

I just love the foiled images on the designer series paper so much!! The Year End Sale ends Jan 2nd so if you want it before it’s gone go here to the Stampin’ Up! Store.

If you use my Hostess Code for December I will send you a handmade card and my customer thank you gift for this month.

I hope everyone has a great and safe New Years!! I can’t wait for some of the amazing specials, classes and more that will be happening in 2018!!

Keep Stampin’!

Annual Catalog 2017-2018

Inspire.Create.Challenge #008

I love being apart of the Inspire.Create.Challenge Design Team! I love the challenges and that I can hopefully inspire other stampers with my projects!

This challenge is a Card Sketch! It’s a simple one but there is so much you could do with it! Since Christmas is sadly over I am slowly moving into Valentine’s Day or love themed cards.

I decided I wanted my card to be landscape since my sentiment was my main focus.

I used Powder Pink card stock for my base. The designer series paper is from the Whole Lot of Lovely pack. I used Champagne foil as a strip under the designer series paper.

I then stamped my sentiment “sending lots of love” onto a shimmer card stock and cut into a banner. The ribbon I used is the Whisper White Classic Weave Ribbon. I love this ribbon so much! It is so easy to tie in bows and you can even change the color by spritzing it. Last but not least added some rhinestones.

Here’s the stamp set Lots of Love. It is a very cute set to create love themed cards with. I really like the big sentiment but my favorite is “Consider yourself hugged.” Then the Deisgner Series Paper here is the Whole Lot of Lovely. It has some very pretty patterns, some more basic and others bold and vibrant.

The Occasions catalog will be going live January 3rd. If you would like a catalog and don’t have a demonstrator I will love to send you one. Just email me at Hopepapercreations@aol.com telling me you would like a catalog and your address. 😊

I will be sharing more information about my new Stamp Club and my monthly card kits! Lots of fun coming in the new year!!

Do you like deals, sales and, discounts? Did you know the best deal in the catalog is the Starter Kit?! You get $125+ value for only $99 plus tax! Free shipping and you get to pick what comes in it! If this intrigues you let’s chat so you can learn about all the benefits. There is no obligation.

Click the photo below to go to the Inspire.Create.Challenge Blog to see what the other design team has created for this fun card sketch challenge! Don’t forget to join in on the challenge! We would love to see your creations!

Have Great Wednesday!

Annual Catalog 2017-2018, Embossing, Stampin' Blends

Stampin’ Blends

The last couple of days have been pretty busy! Today I went to see the new Star Wars movie with my love. Then we finished addressing our Christmas cards! I can’t believe Christmas is a week away!! I hope to do some baking still this week! As much as I love Christmas I think I’m tired of making anything Christmasy so today’s project is one I made with the new Stampin’ Blends! They are so much fun and pretty easy to use after just a little practice.

10.17.17_STAMPINBLENDS_SHAREABLE1_DEMO_NA

If you have not heard about Stampin’ Blends they are Stampin’ Up!’s new alcohol markers. They come as singles, double packs which are the dark and light shades of one color and the full collection. Then they also have a Color Lifter which helps lift some of the color if you want to add lightened areas or try to get some color that may have gone outside of the lines.

IMG_5689

This up close picture shows the shading I did on the birds with the Pool Party light and dark markers. I used the Pumpkin Pie for the beaks, I don’t remember if it was the light or dark. The stamp set I used for this project is called Color Me Happy. It’s not in a catalog, it was released with the Stampin’ Blends. You can find the Stampin’ Blends, this stamp set and a very pretty kit under the Ink tab on the left side of the Stampin’ Up! Store. Or here’s a direct link: Stampin’ Blends The stamp set coordinates with the kit and has some great images to color in with the Blends.

144069G

This card was created with the colors Pool Party, Island Indigo and Flirty Flamingo as my own color challenge. I just love these colors together! The sentiment “OH, HELLO” is also from the Color Me Happy stamp set. I just stamped it on Whisper White card stock using Flirty Flamingo and free hand cut around it. I added just a small side of a doily underneath it.

IMG_5687

The card base is Pool Party card stock that was embossed with the Sweetheart Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. That folder actually has a heart in the middle. So when you open the card you can see the heart  on the inside and I like that, you could write a little note in there even.

143705G

Then I layered on a piece of Island Indigo. I stamped then colored in the birds. I then tied Pool Party bakers twine around a couple times and just tied a knot. Added that onto the Island Indigo piece and then added my doily and sentiment. If you have read some of my blog posts before you know my last touches are always bling of some kind! This time I added some Wink of Stella to the birds and a rhinestone next to the sentiment.

I hope you liked my card! Let me know in the comments if you have tried the Stampin’ Blends or planning to. I will then randomly pick someone to receive this card from me!

Order your Stampin’ Blends today! Don’t forget the Memento Black ink! It’s the only ink to use with the Blends so it doesn’t smear as you color. I have a December Hostess Code open until the 31st. If you order and use the hostess code I will send you some Happy Mail from me! Happy Mail could be a handmade card, embellishment or a card kit. 🙂 If you need help with putting your order in or have any questions please email me! I’m here to help!
