So glad Monday is over this week haha Just one of those days you feel like you’re going to get a lot done but don’t. I still accomplished a few things on my list but no where near what I was hoping. Guess today I will have to keep my Sweet Tea filled up and knock out this to do list.
Today’s project inspired by a simpler project from a lady named Janine Gießing on Instagram under giessingjanine. I took the bones of her project but had to figure out measurements to fit this Bath and Body Works hand cream. She also used the Tag Topper punch.
I loved how hers looked! It is the cutest way to gift a lotion or lip gloss! Now to be honest I don’t remember any measurements! 😦 I may have to sit back down and make it again. I’d like to make a video on it since its a cute birthday gift!
Peekaboo Peach card stock and Painted with Love designer series paper were the main paper used. Then I also used some Dazzling Diamond Glimmer paper and punched it out with the starburst punch. I love that paper!!! You don’t need a lot on the project for it still be blingy! I stamped the Happy Birthday with Rich Razzleberry onto Whisper White and punched it out with the 2″ circle punch. The sentiment is from the stamp set Happy Birthday Goregous. I layered those onto Peekaboo Peach stitched circle die cut out with the Stitched Shapes framelits.
This lotion from Bath & Body Works feels so good! I currently have on the Cucumber Melon one! It doesn’t feel oily like so many lotions. The Pear one smells really good too! They had a sale on them around Christmas and I picked up a bunch to be gifts down the road. I think this will be how I packed them up every time!
Here’s a side view of it. My version ended up not standing up very well. I think the next one I make I’ll add more of a base area to it. I used the Tutti-Frutti adhesive backed sequins to add a touch more of Bling and the colors are perfect!
I used the Calypso Coral shimmer ribbon from the trio pack in the Sale-A-Bration brochure for the top then tied it with Basic Black baker’s twine. This packaging did take a few trial and errors before I got it where I wanted it. Oh almost forgot the hole the lotion is sitting in was punched with the 1 1/2″ circle punch.
When I go back to figure out the dimensions I will create a video and share a link here! 🙂
