Hooray Panda!

So thankful that the weather is starting to get warmer here in North Carolina! I am a flip flop girl that wants to be sipping on a Caramel Frappucino while enjoying some sun. I have been able to take some more pictures outside. I’m undecided which way I like better right now.

Yesterday I mention I had a panda project in mind… here it is! I do think this Panda is ready to party though! haha I am so proud of this box! I went by a basic measurement from another box but then had to figure out the exact measurements for mine so my goodies inside slide in and out perfectly. What’s inside?

These super cute Pocky sticks in Cookies & Cream flavor. I found these at my local neighborhood Walmart. As soon as I saw them I knew I wanted to make this cute box! I actually have never tried Pocky sticks before. So that means I may have to break into them after this post! hehe Plus I love Cookies & Cream flavored items!

I used the Emerald Envy card stock for the body of the box. Then I added the Petal Passion designer series paper that came closest to a bamboo look to me to each side of the box including the top.

I almost forgot to share that I actually embossed the panda this time since I wanted a hint of texture. I first stamped in memento then with versa mark and used clear embossing powder. I then cut the panda out with the circle Stitched Shapes framelit die. I was trying to keep the original balloon at first but once I accidentally cut it off I decided I wanted this Hooray balloon from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set. I used the balloon punch to punch it out. I did emboss the balloon too. Then I colored it in with the Pool Party light and dark Stampin’ Blends. I used the color lifter Blend in the highlight spot of the balloon then added some fine tip glue in just that area.

I layered the circle onto a square stitched die cut cut in Pool Party. Added it all together with Stampin’ Dimensionals. My last few touches were the tiny bow made from Basic Black solid baker’s twine added with a glue dot. Then the Tutti-Frutti adhesive backed sequins! I think those have slightly replaced my rhinestones during a lot of my projects lately!
