2020-2021 Annual Catalog, Designer Series Paper

A Blue Journey

Life is a beautiful journey, sometimes we go through times that make us blue but in the end this journey is beautiful! Look up and around! That beautiful blue sky with white fluffy clouds is a blessing! Those green trees are a beautiful sight! Take a moment to enjoy the little things as they add up to a whole!

Today’s card I started off with a Balmy Blue card base. It is such a pretty light blue. I then used In Good Taste Designer Series Paper for two of the layers. The back layer that looks like a type of fabric is cut to 4″ by 5 1/4″.

Then I have a piece of the blue and white tile piece cut to 2 7/16″ by 3 9/16″. Don’t let 16th scare you, they are the smallest lines on a ruler/trimmer. I have a piece of Basic Black behind the tile layer at3 3/4″ by 2 5/8″.

I stamped the sentiment from Beautiful World in Balmy Blue onto Whisper White and die cut t with the scalloped rectangle from Stitched So Sweetly die set. I added a Basic Black 1/4″ by 3 1/2″ banner behind the sentiment layer. I only used liquid glue on this card no Stampin’ Dimensionals, shocking! Then I added a hint of bling with the Coastal Cabana rhinestone from the Holiday Rhinestone pack.
