This weeks card was definitely a challenge! I threw it together in about a half an hour! What?! I forgot to work on it before the deadline was soon approaching! So I sat down at my desk looked at our challenge… a “card sketch” CASE challenge and started creating!
Today’s challenge is an inspiration card so I kind of used it as a card sketch first then “copied” some of it. I started of with a Rich Razzleberry card base.
I then used Tasteful Touches stamp set since I wanted to use the coordinating designer series paper. I thought the images in the set were perfect to use in the square and rectangle sections. I stamped the background a handful of times using the square design from the set with Rich Razzleberry. I cut a piece of designer series paper to 3 3/4″ by 5″ and adhered it down.
I stamped them in a color combo I grabbed from my ink storage… Rich Razzleberry, Rocco Rose and Misty Moonlight. These are very pretty together! Once I stamped the images I die cut them out using the Stitched Shapes and the Stitched Rectangle frames. I adhered a couple down and used Stampin’ Dimensionals on the flower and the sentiment. It was fun to play with the layout of the squares and rectangles!
I added one of the Misty Moonlight Enamel Dots and some of the braided twine and called it a card! So some of it is a bit more crocked then I’d like but it was a fun quick make that I probably wouldn’t have come up with if I just sat there staring at Kate’s card for a while. We will just say I did it like that n purpose 😉
