I love how today’s card turned out! Sadly I don’t feel the photos do it enough justice! I started with a Seaside Spray card base. I made the fold at the top so I could use this beautiful Seaside Spray ribbon that carried over at the top.
The layers include Whisper White cut to 4″ by 5 1/4″ and the Designer Series Paper called In Good Taste white stucco design at 3 3/4″ by 5″. I used the Stitched So Sweetly die to cut out the sentiment piece. I stamped on it after I die cut it using Seaside Spray ink and the sentiment from So Sentimental stamp set.
Next I adhered the Whisper White and Designer Series Paper layers together with liquid glue. I then added a stripe of vellum that I cut into a banner. The vellum measures 1 3/4″ by 4 1/4″. I just cut up the middle at the bottom and then from the sides inward to that cut to make the banner part. I added the sentiment layer to the vellum with Stampin’ Dimensionals before adhering to the card so I knew where I could put adhesive on the vellum. Also added a strip of tear tape at the top of the vellum that was able to be hidden behind the ribbon.
Last but never east is adding some bling! Now sadly this these faceted dots are retired but we have some new embellishments called Elegant Faceted Gems that I think would look so pretty in place of these! They were not on preorder so I didn’t have them on hand.
