It’s that time again! I have slacked some on keeping g up with Inspire.Create.Challenge and blogging. Lots going on in my life lately but here is a beautiful fun card! Don’t forget to check out the design team’s other projects by clicking on the image above!
I love how this card turned out! It has texture, layers, die cuts, shimmer! It is more of an avid crafter card but I hope it inspires someone! Now if you take away the texture and the die cut anyone could make this card with just a trimmer, scissors and a stamp!
The card base is Flirty Flamingo! I then layered a piece of this already amazing fabric texture Designer Series Paper from In Good Taste. I did run this through with the Subtle embossing folder. I then curled the left corner. I adhered it down with liquid glue.
I then used a piece the stucco pattern from the same paper pack and flagged it. It is 4″ by 1 1/2″. Then I layered a small strip of Just Jade at 3 1/2″ by 1/4″. Flagged the end of this as well then adhered these two to the card.
The sentiment layer is the Beautiful Friendship congratulations stamped in Flirty Flamingo. Then cut out with the Stitched So Sweetly’ scalloped rectangle die.
Then I fussy cut some daisies from the new Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper. I cut them n half and add time behind the sentiment layer with glue dots. I added some Wink of Stella to them. I then added Stampin’ Dimensionals on the sentiment layer and daisies and adhered it to the card.
The last touch I did was add some “embellishments” using a hint of Wink of Stella added in little circles to the top right of the sentiment layer. Then I added some Fine Tip Glue Pen on to of it. They look like little enamel dots!
