Inspire.Create.Challenge #039

Welcome back for another Inspire.Create.Challenge paper crafting challenge! This time around we have a theme. Some themes I love and others I have a harder time deciding what to create. This one was a little harder. The theme is Pets. I decided to use the frog since I always thought I wanted a frog as a pet when I was younger!

Today’s card starts off with a Lemon Lime Twist card base. I love this color and sadly it will be leaving us by the end of May 😦 So if you love any of the In-Colors 2017-2019 then get your hands on them as soon as possible before they start selling out!

I then cut a piece of coordinating Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper at 4″ by 5 1/4″. I adhered it down with liquid glue. Next cut a square of Gold Glimmer paper either using just your trimmer or the Layering Square framelit dies/Stitched Shapes framelits. I used the Stitched Shapes square but any square would work great!

I then stamped the frog from So Hoppy Together (Sale-A-Bration stamp set) and the sentiment in Memento Black onto some Whisper White. I fussy cut out the frog. I cut the sentiment apart after stamping it. I used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals for the sentiment. Used both mini and regular Stampin’ Dimensionals for the frog.

Last touch was some Fine Tip Glue Pen on the frogs eyes and the wheel. Fun, simple card that is great to send as an encouragement!
