Annual 2018-2019, Occasions CATALOG 2019, Sale-A-Bration 2019

Melon Mambo Flowers

Hey Stampers! How’s your week going? I’ve been behind my craft table a lot working on some cards to share with you over the next few weeks! I am loving this stamp set Painted Seasons that is a part of a Sale-A-Bration freebie that also includes some really pretty paper!!

I’ll be sharing cards next week with the paper! I love that they work together and apart, makes more bang for your buck… oh wait this bundle is free! hehe I am using an upcoming new product this week which is the coordinating framelit dies (these are not a freebie but worth getting!). They will be available staring the beginning of March!

Ok let’s get into how this card is created! It starts off with a Petal Pink card base. Then I’m using a sold out Sale-A-Bration item… the Grapefruit Grove & Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets. I cut it to 4″ by 5 1/4″. Then a piece of Whisper White at 3 3/4″ by 5″. I adhered them together with liquid glue then adhered it to the card.

A little tip is if you want your paper to go further like this gorgeous foil then you can punch or die cut out pieces from the middle that will be covered from another layer.

Next I die cut this square with the Stitched Shapes framelit dies. I adhered that down with liquid glue then started stamping my flowers. I stamped them in Melon Mambo. I stamped the leaves in Pear Pizzazz. I then die cut them with the soon to be release coordinating framelit dies. I love that I have them (demo perk!) but these could always be fussy cut.

I stamped this sentiment from the Sale-A-Bration freebie stamp set called Part of My Story. I love the sentiments in that set! I stamped it in Pear Pizzazz as well. I die cut it using the smallest oval from the Stitched Shapes framelits as well.

I added some silver metallic thread behind the sentiment with some tear tape. I then added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the sentiment and added it to the card.

Now adhere your flowers using liquid glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals depending on if you want them to have dimension or lay flat. I also added some liquid glue to the flower i used a dimensional on so it would stick to the sentiment as well.

For the leaves you can use liquid glue and slide them into place.

I love all the mixed metallic and shimmer on this card! I added Wink of Stella to the flowers so that they shine too!

I finished the card off with some pearls and called it done. I love how this card turned out! It will be a perfect card to send to someone special!
