2018 Holiday Catalog, Annual 2018-2019, Christmas, Designer Series Paper

The Warmth of Christmas

Oh my gosh I think Autumn season skipped our area and its Winter already! It is so chilly out! This flip flop girl is not ready for anything cold yet! Well at least it may help me get into the mood to start working more on Christmas cards! I have my yummy Bath & Body Works Peppermint Marshmallow candle from last year or year before sitting on my desk trying to bring in the Christmas crafting mojo ha ha

Today’s card is a Christmas card that I used the Corrugated Dynamic Texture Impressions Embossing Folder on! This is an amazing embossing folder that everyone that has a Big Shot needs to get!!

I started today’s card with a Crumb Cake card base. I then the next layer is a piece of Very Vanilla cut to 3 3/4″ by 5″. I adhered it down with liquid glue. Next layer is a piece of the classic plaid pattern from the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper cut to 3 1/2″ by 4 3/4″. Adhered it down with liquid glue as well.

Next it was time for some dimension! I used the Corrugated embossing folder on some Crumb Cake cut to 1 1/2″ by 4″. I ran it through the Big Shot without spritzing it first with water. This allows it to look a bit more distressed which I like. I then flagged the end.

Then I took a piece of Real Red cut to 1 1/2″ by 2 3/4″. I flagged the end of this one as well. I added both of the banners to the card using liquid glue.

The other dimension comes from the sentiment layer!

I stamped this sentiment from Snowflake Sentiments stamp set, located in the annual catalog in Mossy Meadow onto some Very Vanilla. I punched it out with the 2″ circle punch. I then layered it onto a piece of Gold Glimmer punched with the Starburst punch! I adhered them together with liquid glue the added them to the card wit h Stmpain’ Dimensionals.

Last was the to add some embellishments! I added this bow out of the Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine in Mossy Meadow. I added it with a glue dot. I also added two of the Red Rhinestones! I got those as a birthday from my upline!! I love them and they are so pretty in person!
