Welcome to our #023 challenge from Inspire.Create.Challenge blog! This challenge is a card sketch that is open to so many styles! I can’t wait to see what all of you come up with! I used my Product of the Week: Color Your Season!
I started of with a Basic Black card base. Then I took two sheets of the Tropical Escape 6×6 designer series paper (on sale until end of July 2018)! I cut them both to 4″ by 5 1/4″ then cut them in half both ways so 2″ and 2 5/8″. I then used two from each of the patterns. But before I cut the pink one I stamped it with the flower bunch from the new Blended Seasons stamp set that is apart of the Color Your Season August limited edition promotion!
I also used the new Watercolor Pencils (Assortment 2) to color in a hint of the flowers and leaves. I added some Wink of Stella to the flowers. I then added the piece of cut designer series paper onto a piece of Whisper White layer so it would add some more weight and so I could trim it down just a hint more. I adhered it to the card using Liquid Multipurpose Glue.
Next I die cut the medium stitched label from the new coordinating Stitched Seasons framelit set from Vellum. I added it with some Tear Tape and a Glue Dot.
To hide the tear tape I added my sentiment over it. I layered some Basic Black and Whisper White card stock with Stampin’ Dimensionals then adhered it down with Liquid Glue. Before adhering it together I stamped the sentiment from the Blended Seasons in I believe Blackberry Bliss (forgot to write it down at the time I created it!).
To hide the glue dot I added a double bow using Whisper White Baker’s Twine. The finish touch was two of the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls!
