Inspire.Create.Challenge #062 Sketch Challenge

I’m back! Let’s see if my crafty mojo will stay around! I sat down and created two cards, one for today’s challenge and one for a future challenge! I just got this beautiful Designer Series Paper in called Best Dressed.

I started with an Old Olive card base since it is one of the coordinating colors in the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper. I love the side with these beautiful watercolor flowers as patterns!

I cut the piece to 4″ by 5 1/4″. I curled the left corner with my bone folder until I could peel it apart into two pieces. Then I adhered the piece to the card base.

I had some scrap Lovely Lipstick card stock so I cut a strip to 1/4″ by 5 1/2″ and adhered it down.

Then I stamped the sentiment from So Sentimental in Daffodil Delight then Lovely Lipstick. I haven’t done this shadow technique in a while so thought I’d give it a go even though the stamp is red rubber.

I then die cut it out using the Nesting Label dies. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals and added it to the card.

Last detail was to add some bling, so I just went to my stash and found some rhinestones.
