Today’s card I had a recipient in mine for which made it a little hard to create but also gave me some ideas of what Stampin’ Up!® products to use! This person LOVES pink and especially Melon Mambo! She also loves black and white too! I received this Beauty Abounds bundle as a prize and I thought it would be only right to create a thank you card with it!

So I used Melon Mambo card base. Then I used this black and white diagonal striped pattern from the Botanical Butterfly DSP for the background layer. It is cut to 4″ by 5 1/4″. I added it on with liquid glue.

I got a little overwhelmed by the bundle but I love butterflies so I knew I wanted to start with trying to use this big butterfly die. There are two in the bundle, they layer together. I just used the one you would use for the top layer.

I die cut it out in Melon Mambo. I used liquid glue carefully to adhere it to the card. The liquid glue is multipurpose so it is sticky when it dies. You could also have used the fine tip glue pen or the multipurpose adhesive sheets.

Once I had my butterfly bundle die glued down I decided it needed something since the background was so busy. I decided to take some time and just add the one tip glue pen to it. This gives it a hint and a little bit of a 3D effect.

For the sentiment I knew I wanted to use the thanks. It is apart of the Beauty Abounds so it was perfect. I stamped it in Basic Black Memento ink.  The Whisper White strip is 1/2″ by 4 1/4″ and the Silver Glimmer paper is 3/4″ by 4 1/4″. I layered then together with glue dots then used Stampin’ Dimensionals to add it to the card.

Last I colored one of the Heart Epoxy Droplets with the Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blend. I added it to the right side of the sentiment for the last touch of bling.
