2017 Holiday Catalog, Card Kits, Designer Series Paper

Hello Fall!

Do you love Pumpkin Spiced Lattes and go crazy when they first come out for the season? I like Pumpkin flavors but the Spiced part usually not so much. My favorite is the Salted Caramel Mochas Frappe! They also come out the same time as PSL which is right before my birthday! I wish it was Autumn all the time with the cooler weather but not too cold. The beautiful colored leaves and of course the tastes of fall! Halloween is not my favorite holiday besides for the sweet treats!! So I thought I would start making some fun different sweet treats to give to my friends and family.

The first one is this adorable le new pizza box that Stampin’ Up! has in the holiday catalog! They can fit so many types of goodies. I have tried little gummy pizza, Fun Size packs of M&M’s, some other square chocolate. I used the Merry Cafe stamp set for the coffee cup and sentiment. I use fussy cut the cup and lid out. To get the cup label I stamped the cup onto some of the Painted Autumn designer series paper and only cut out the middle section freehand. I used the Stitched Shapes framelit dies square to cut the Pumpkin Pie cardstock to added some contrast in color. The ribbon is so soft an easy to tie. It’s the Basic Black 3/8′ Shimmer ribbon.

Annual Catalog 2017-2018, Card Kits, Designer Series Paper

Soft Sayings Stamp Set

Soft SayingsAll Inclusive Card Kit-2

Don’t you just love a kit that you can get a stamp set included in it? Soft Sayings kit is still one of my favorites! The only extra product you will need to complete the kit is adhesive. I used tear tape glue dots and the fine tip liquid glue. I showed you a card here that I did with some of the left over elements as well as the stamp set. I thought I would share some others that I created with the stamp set as well.

I used the Wood Texture Designer Series Paper for all the cards. That paper stack is 6 x 6 and it is perfect for all types of occasions! The stitched shapes framelits are my go to die cut now days! I just love the extra detail it gives to the cards without much effort.

Here’s some closer looks at the cards.

This card is my favorite, I die cut out the LOVE and added Wink of Stella to them. I inked up just the you lots from the sentiment Love you lots. The banner was easy to make. Just cut a strip and flag the ends then cut the sentiment in a smaller strip then add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment.

For this next card I used a few different elements. I die cut a square with my stitched shapes into the gold glimmer paper. I stamped the sentiment, flower and leaves onto a whisper white card stock then die cut it out using the Eastern Medallions thinlits. Wrapped some Baker’s Twine around the card front.

This next card is a great masculine card. Masculine cards are so hard to come up with! This designer series paper makes it a bit easier. I just used some of the left over Washington tape and baker’s twine from the Soft Sayings kit on this card.

This is a simple but was a fun card to create. I used the stitched shapes to die cut a larger circle out of the designer series paper then I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the die cut circle. I added a sentiment to a smaller die cut circle in white. I cut a banner strip rom Tranquil Tide to match the sentiment color.

Last this is the card I first showed in the other blog post I mentioned at the beginning of this post hehe I really loved using the Wood Texture designer series paper as a big part of these cards. The sot sayings kit is $35 which is great because it makes 20 cards. In the end you will have the stamp set and some let over embellishments to use on other cards. Check out the Soft Sayings kit here. I have a party open until this evening if your interested in the kit or something else. If you purchase the kit I will send you the card kit for these 5 cards. It would include the card bases, the designer series paper per card and the die cuts. Everything else is from the kit. Lemon & Drinks

Lemon & Drinks Pinterest

I am so excited to tell you about two of my favorite stamp sets that I love using together!!

When I first got to see the 2017-2018 Stampin’ Up! Annual catalog I fell in love with a stamp set called Lemon Zest! It made me laugh so hard at the sentiments included!! The best part is there is a punch that goes along with it!

The other stamp set is called Mixed Drinks! Which has been around for at least 2 years now. I wanted it the first time I saw it as well but kept putting it on the back burner. Well now I have it and love using it!! I love this set because it can be a frosty mug of beer or root beer. It’s a very fun set to play around with.

Drinks Stamp

Check out a few of the cards I made using both the Lemon Zest and Mixed Drink stamp sets. The top left card uses the new designer series paper called Wood Texture. That paper is amazing and comes with a bunch of different wood textures in all different browns, whites and beige colors. Here I used the shabby white wood to give it a lemonade stand feel. The other two cards I used Color Theory designer series paper (DSP) and some of the Wood Texture DSP. I love the Color Theory paper, the ombre ones I love to use for the backgrounds. I punched out the lemons for two of the cards. The top left one I just used the lemon stamp to the background.

Each card has a stamped drink image that I stamped and fussy cut out. I used Wink of Stella and Fine Tip Glue on all the cards in different areas.

I loved how fun and bright these cards are! I have an opportunity for you to be able to make these same cards! I have created three To Go options for these cards plus 5 other cards designs!

updatedL&D Class
*Option A (Basic kit):  includes all 8 cards precut and scored. It also includes precut Designer Series Paper (DSP) for the backgrounds. These will be from both the Wood Textures and Color Theory (Colors may vary). The die cuts will be made for you as well. The basic kit does not come with anything but the paper needed for the cards. I will include the Whisper White paper that you will need to stamp and punch the images on.

Demonstrators are not allowed to stamp images out for you. This is why I have two other options.

*Option B includes the basic kit plus the Lemon Zest bundle which is the clear stamp set and punch.

*Option C includes the basic kit plus Everything you need to create these cards! This is a great way to start your stamping supplies or just add some items that are staples in most card making.

*You will also need ink and blocks for the stamps.

I do not have the supplies on hand so I will order all supplies and product the day after the deadline to sign up. From there it takes at least a week to get the order than a week to prep all the supplies and ship out.

Deadline to preorder is July 22nd, 2017.

Preorder your kit by emailing me at Hopepapercreations with which option you’d like. Then I’ll PayPal you an invoice.

I hope you enjoyed seeing a couple cards that I used both Lemon Zest and Mixed Drinks on! I had a lot of fun putting them together! Have a great day!

Soft Sayings Left Overs

IMG_3395Soft Sayings is a beautiful card kit from Stampin’ Up! that has supplies to make 20 cards in a variety of sizes and still have some left overs! I love left overs from kits, it means its worth the money spent on it.  The picture to the right is just half of the cards. You get supplies to do two of each and they include envelopes.

I decided I wanted to make a card with the left overs and stamp set to go along with the card sketch from the Global Design Project.  It’s fun to play along with their new challenges every week!

Here’s a close up of the card. I splattered it with some Tranquil Tide using the Stampin’ Write Marker and Wink of Stella. I used the washi tape and bakers twine from the Soft Sayings Kit.

I used a Lemon Lime Twist Cardbase as well as a piece for the small die cut stitched oval. I used the new designer series paper called Wood Textures. It is awesome paper!! It has many types of wood textures!

This card is gender neutral but could easily be a manly card. Which I feel like I like most card makers have a hard time creating. Do you have a hard time making manly cards?

During the month of July Stampin’ Up! has an awesome promotion called Bonus Days! if you spend $50 then you will receive a $5 coupon code to use in August! I have a hostess code for July. If you spend $25 then you will receive Happy Mail from me!

Make sure to check back to learn about a fundraiser I’m doing with the sale of Soft Sayings Kits and even something special with this card above!
