Inspire.Create.Challenge #057

Welcome stampers! I hope this challenge catches you while you are enjoying creating for the holidays!

Over at Inspire.Create.Challenge we have a new challenge for you! It’s a themed challenge!

Fancy Folds! There are so many fancy Folds, what is your favorite to create? I don’t think I have a favorite… well I do enjoy making easel cards. Today I tried a new one!

I typed into Pinterest, like all of us crafters right?! I found one from Lisa Curcio, another Stampin’ Up! Demo.

I thought I would give it a try with the gorgeous paper from the November special, The Christmastime Designer Series Paper. The suite is still available until the end of November! It is beautiful!

Now I didn’t really make this into a card, but I have ideas for my next one!

I’ll share Lisa Curcio’s blog post for all the measurements details. I changed directions on mine because I changed my mind on which patterns I wanted to show in the way I did.

I added the coordinating Gold shimmer ribbon around the whole “card” and made a bow. I added a glue dot behind the box just to keep sure it stayed in place.

Next I stamped this sentiment from the hostess set Greatest Part of Christmas in Old Olive. I just freehand cut it but you could use the trimmer.

I added Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhered it to the card.

I fussy cut some of the roses from another sheet of the paper. One set I used glue dots and then I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the rose on top.

I always add some kind of “Bling” to my cards so here I added 2 of the Holiday Rhinestones.

Here’s the back! It is so pretty! You could always add a layer of Whisper White so you can write on it.

I thought I could use this for my secret santa sister and add in gift cards in the front pockets.

Check out what the rest of the Design Team created by clicking the image below! Don’t forget to join in on the fun and share your project your created using a Fancy Fold! Just remember add your name into the headline when filling out the InLinkz instead of your blog post name.
