My card has an Autumny feel to it. I just couldn’t help from using Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze together this this darling fox pair! I used two stamp sets: Wildly Happy (the fox pair) and Country Home which is where I grabbed the sentiment from.
I started off with the Crushed Curry card base and ran it through with the Subtle embossing folder. I have say it did make the front a little weaker, but worth it for the look!
I used a strip of Very Vanilla and ran it through the Basket Weave embossing folder. I adhered it with liquid glue.
I tied some Linen Thread around the front of the card twice then tied it into a bow. I thought the natural tie would be a good touch.
I stamped the foxes in Cajun Craze onto Cajun Craze then die cut it with the Stitched Shapes large circle. I then colored n the tail, noses and ears with Wink of Stella and a touch of Champagne Shimmer Ink. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to add it to the card.
For the sentiment I used a sentiment that had this “For all the good things” under other words. So I only stamped this out and then freehand cut it. I used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the card.
Here’s a close up of the card to show all the textures! I love it! I added a Gold Faceted Dot to the Very Vanilla corner.
Want to hear a funny story?
See the picture below there is a little spot on the left below the Very Vanilla strip? Guess what it is!
You guys… it was a tiny spider!! It was kind of cool! I took some extra pictures, check them out below.
I mean it was TINY!! I didn’t kill it. I just tapped the card on my porch to get it off.
But not before he tried to create a web within the side of my card! WHAT?! Part of me thought I should have left it haha
So this card must of brought out the Autumn feel for this little guy! I hope you enjoyed todays card and the funny story of my tiny spider friend! haha
