Inspire.Create.Challenge #046

It’s time for another paper crafting challenge from Inspire.Create.Challenge blog! Right now these challenges are what’s keeping me creating! The challenge for the next two weeks is a color combo challenge. In fact it’s our new In-Colors for 2019-2021! I started off with a Pretty Peacock card base. I also cut a piece of Seaside Spray to 4″ by 5 1/4″. I piece of Whisper White at 3 3/4″ by 5″.

I stamped on the Whisper White using the stamp set A Good Man. First I embossed it in some white embossing powder (sadly not Stampin’ Up!’s). I then used my Aqua Painter to add color to the image. I squeezed my ink pads to get just a little on the inside part of the lid.

I used Smokey Slate for a little watery ground. Then I used the Terra-cotta Tile for the skin (poor guy already has a sunburn!). I used Rococo Rose for the guys shirt and Seaside Spray for his shorts. Last I added the Pretty Peacock to his hat.

Next I stamped the It’s your Day! in Seaside Spray in the top let corner a couple times.

I took my bone folder to the top left of the Whisper White paper a couple times until the paper started to separate. I then adhered it to the Seaside Spray card stock with liquid glue. I then added some staple embellishing to the top and bottom. Now adhere the layers to the card base.

Last I wanted to still add the other sentiment “Relax Your Way”. I used a sliver of Seaside Spray and stamped it in Pretty Peacock. I adhered it with the Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
