Sweet Stampede Spring Blog Hop

Welcome back to another blog hop from Sweet Stampede Team! This is Erica Cerwin’s team and we have an amazing team that I am so blessed to be apart of! Today we are sharing some Spring/Easter projects with you! All the ladies joining us are so creative and we all have different styles so make sure to hop through and leave a comment on their pages!

My card reflects my favorite color, my feelings for my team sisters and the feel of Spring! I started with a Coastal Cabana card base at 51/2″ by 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″. I ran the front of my card through the Big Shot with the Basket Weave embossing folder.

Using the card sketch from this week and my Product of the Week Part of my Story stamp set I created a card that comes together pretty quickly. Crumb Cake layer is 4 1/4″ by 3 1/4″. The succulent pattern from Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper is 3″ by 4″. Adhere them together with liquid glue. I then wrapped this Lemon Lime Twist ombre ribbon around the card meeting in the middle behind where the sentiment layer will hide it. I used tear tape to adhere it down. I add the bow after the sentiment layer is down so I know where to place it. Adhere it down with a glue dot.

For the sentiment layer I stamped this encouraging sentiment in Coastal Cabana onto Whisper White card stock then die cut it with one of the smaller ovals from the Stitched Shapes Framelit dies. I also die cut a larger oval from the Sparkling Glimmer Paper. I adhered them together with glue dots. Then I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the sentiment oval layer and added it to the center of the card.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today! I hope you enjoyed my card! The card sketch is down below if you want to give it a try. I love it because I can get 12 rectangles out of a sheet of Designer Series Paper! It’s a great way to use your paper and get the most out of it! If you create a card using the card sketch as inspiration I would love to see it!

Next you will be checking out Julie’s Spring project! Don’t forget to share some love in the comments of the ladies posts! We always love hearing what you think of the projects we do!
