Annual 2018-2019, Card Sketch, Designer Series Paper, Occasions CATALOG 2019, Sale-A-Bration 2019

Spring Fever

Today’s card has me feeling some Spring Fever! I am so ready for Spring to be here! There are already some trees blooming and it is a beautiful sight! I love seeing the colors, flowers and green coming back!

This week I am using the Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper again, hope your not sick of it yet! hehe But my Product of the Week is the Sale-A-Bration Part of My Story stamp set that you can get for free with a $50 purchase. It is a beautiful sentiment set. The sentiments are all from demonstrators. Stampin’ Up!® asked for some sentiment ideas and these were the ones chosen! How awesome is that?!

I feel like the sentiments are perfect for some uplifting happy mail to friends, family, even co-corkers!

For today’s card I started with a piece of Thick Whisper White card stock that’s cut to 4 1/4″ by 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″. I ran the front side of the card through the Big Shot with the amazing Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions embossing folder. I love our Thick Whisper White card stock, it’s perfect as a card base, especially one ran through the Big Shot with an embossing folder!

Next I cut some Crumb Cake to 3 1/4″ by 4 1/4″. I then cut this flower pattern from the Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper to 3″ by 4″. Layered them together with liquid glue.

I wrapped some Powder Pink Ruffled Ribbon (soon to be retired by the end of May) around the layers and just tied two knots. Then I used Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the layers and adhered it to the card.

Sentiment layer time! I stamped the flower from Painted Seasons, which is a DistINKtive style stamp in Powder Pink onto some Whisper White. I then stamped the sentiment from the Part of My Story stamp set in Poppy Parade. I then die cut it with the oval from Stitched Shapes framelit dies. I then added Stampin’ Dimensionals then adhered it to the card.

P.S. You can get a new DistINKtive stamp set in the April Paper Pumpkin kit that will be a card kit with a gift box included! Check out my Paper Pumpkin tab for more info about signing up!

I decided to add some Wink of Stella to the flowers on the sentiment layer to add some shine. I love how this card turned out! I hope you liked it and it inspired you! I realized that I used this type of card sketch a lot lately so I thought I would create a card sketch you can look at easier. If you create a card with this card sketch inspiration then I would love to see it!
