Annual 2018-2019, Designer Series Paper, Occasions CATALOG 2019, Sale-A-Bration 2019

Lemon Lime Goodness!

Anyone else ready for Spring? I am so thankful for the sun shining lately but it’s still been chilly! I look forward to seeing more trees blossoming, the weather warming up and it staying lighter later!

Lemon Lime Twist is one of the 2017-2019 In-Colors that will be retiring at the end of May. It will be a sad day when it leaves but we always look forward to new In-Colors! That being said if you want any products that are using these 2017-2019 In-Colors then I suggest you get them sooner than later. Once they put the retired list out everything goes pretty quickly! I will probably stock up one a few items with these colors. Now my favorite of these colors is Berry Burst! Ugh don’t leave me!!

2017-2019 INCOLORS

What color do you love most out of these 5 In-Colors?

I used a Lemon Lime Twist card base for this card since it coordinates perfectly with the Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper! This pack of paper is a freebie during Sale-A-Bration when you spend $50. You can also get it in a bundle with the Painted Seasons stamp set with a $100 order.

I cut the succulent design to 4″ by 5 1/4″ and adhered it to the card base with liquid glue.

One of the things I love about Stampin’ Up! is that their products coordinate and the colors are the same across all of their products! It takes the guess work out of which colors work together!

I used the Lemon Lime Twist Ombre ribbon. I wrapped it around the center of the card and adhered it with tear tape behind where the sentiment layer would hide the ends. I love using ribbon in a way that the edges hide behind a layer so you don’t show the rough edge of the ribbon. You could always use glue dots to help adhere ribbon down if you don’t have tear tape.

I tied a bow separate from the ribbon I attached around the card then added it with a glue dot. I did this after I added the sentiment layer so I knew exactly where it would go.

For the sentiment layer I die cut the Sparkle Glimmer paper with a large scalloped square. I stamped the sentiment in Mint Macaron onto Whisper White then die cut it with a square that is smaller than the scallop square so I have a nice frame. These square dies are from the layering square framelit die set. The sentiment is from the set called Stitched All Around.

I used glue dots to adhere the sentiment later to the glimmer paper. I then added the whole thing to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
