Annual 2018-2019, Embossing, Occasions CATALOG 2019, Sale-A-Bration 2019

A Bundle of Wishes

Happy Saturday everyone! This week’s blog posts were not my normal schedule and I’m sorry for that. Winter Blues has hit me and I’m working on getting out of this funk! Having this brand new catalog is helping! I’m working hard on some new classes!

Today I’m working in my laundry room trying to get it cleaned up, painted and new shelves up! This card reminds me of the color I’m painting my laundry room, this Pool Party!

I pulled out Pool Party then picked some colors I thought would look good with it! I ended up using Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake and Mint Macaron. The card base is Pool Party. The next layer is Crumb Cake cut to 4″ by 5 1/4″ and I ran it through the Big Shot with the Subtle embossing folder. I love this folder so much! It adds a texture that I didn’t know I needed until I gave it a try! I adhered it to the base with liquid glue.

Next I stamped the lilies with Daffodil Delight and Mint Macaron in a bunch of 3. I decided to fussy cut them. I also used my stylus to add some texture but rubbing on the back part of the paper while it was on my foam pad. I then added some Wink of Stella to the flowers.

I used this beautiful Gingham Gala Daffodil Delight Designer Series Paper as like a wrap for my flowers. It was tricky but I played around it the folds until I was happy with how it looked. Use a little bit of liquid glue to adhere it together.

I then added the flowers to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the sentiment layer I grabbed a scrap piece of Whisper White that I had when I cut inner layers. I stamped the sentiment with Pool Party. I then had seem scrap Pool Party at 5/8″ by 4 1/4″. I adhered the layers together with liquid glue then added Stampin’ Dimensional on the sides then adhered it to the card.

I didn’t add any ribbon or embellishments to this card but I used a little trick I love… I used the Fine Tip Glue and I added some dots on the flowers and lines on the leaves as if it was dew. I also added a couple lines on the gingham wrap too.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this card and give this set a try! It’s beautiful! To earn this set for free you have to place a $100 order during Sale-A-Bration!
