Lasting Lily

Happy New Year Everyone! I’m sorry this post when out without me getting to write within it. I was planning to before I got sick Sunday. I can’t wait to share with you a brand new stamp set called Lasting Lily coming out January 3rd when the Occasion’s Catalog and Sale-A-Brations begins! The stamp set is one of our Sale-A-Bration freebie! I’ll be sharing more details on Thursday for all things Sale-A-Bration!

Stampin’ Up!® also is releasing their new and improved Cling Stamps! These are still our red rubber stamps but the sticker label has been greatly improved! I love them! I used to not put my sticker labels on the back of my stamps since they would not stick to the blocks then. That has changed with the new Cling Stamps! They almost stick too much! haha You have to be careful pulling them off of your case and blocks!

Lasting Lily is a large stamp set that has beautiful sentiments! The set is photopolymer which is the stamps you can see through. This is the first time they have created our DistINKtive stamps with photopolymer material. The details of the lily is amazing!

Lasting Lily SAB

Today’s card starts off with a Highland Heather card base. I chose this color since it is the color used in the Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper that I was using for the first layer. I cut it to 4″ by 5 1/4″. I added the layer with liquid glue.

The next layer is my stamped layer. It’s Whisper White and is cut to 3 3/4″ by 5″. I used Petal Pink for the Lily’s blooms. Then I used Pear Pizzaz for the stems. I adhered it down with liquid glue.

I then stamped the sentiment in Highland Heather onto a scrap Whisper White. I added the strip to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I wanted to keep the card simple so I added one of the coordinating sequins from the new Gingham Gala Adhesive Backed Sequin pack.
