2018 Holiday Catalog, Annual 2018-2019, Christmas, Designer Series Paper, Embossing

Seasonal Greetings of Snow

Is it cold where you live? It’s cold here in North Carolina! It could be worse… it’s not even officially Winter yet! It does make creating Christmas and seasonal cards easier though! Today’s card is using this week’s Product of the Week, the Beautiful Blizzard bundle! This bundle is well beautiful! I used a few nontraditional colors in this one!

I started off with a Blackberry Bliss card base. Next I cut a piece of this really pretty pink marble pattern from the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper. I have not used much of this paper because it is so hard to cut into! But if you love it then chop it! Then you can share the love with others! This layer is 4″ by 5 1/4″.

Before adhering the Designer Series Paper down I heat embossed some snowflakes in the background. I used VersaMark ink and then clear embossing powder. I stamped the snowflakes diagonally on the paper.

Then I adhered it with liquid glue… aka Tombow!!The embossed snowflakes are a fun element that you don’t always notice the first time you see the card but once you do they make the card!

I then started working on the sentiment element. I stamped some snowflakes in Blushing Bride onto Whisper White card stock. I die cut it with the beautiful Stitched Label die. I cut one side to make it have a straight edge to lay flush with the Designer Series Paper. I added it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the Season’s Greeting from beautiful Blizzard with Blackberry Bliss and trimmed it in a long rectangle. I added it to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The right side had a double stack of dimensional since the stitched layer already had some. I decided I wanted some more sparkle so I trimmed a small strip of the Rose Glimmer paper, added it with some liquid glue and a mini dimensional at the end.

Last I added this White Tulle bow to the card with a glue dot. This ribbon is not easy to tie in bows but once you get it they are very pretty! I then added a few Share What You Love Artisan Pearls in the Petal Pink.
