2018 Holiday Catalog, Annual 2018-2019, Christmas, Designer Series Paper

Pampering Christmas Gift

Christmas projects all week long! I hope your are making a wish list of what products you want to get for your Christmas crafting! The Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper should most definitely be on that list! hehe

Today’s project would be cute to give your postal worker, hair stylist, a teacher. Those that stand on their feet a lot during the day!

I started this project with measuring my pampering gift… you’ll see below! The card stock I used was Cherry Cobbler. I trimmer it down only by 1 1/2″ to be 7 1/2″ by 11″ then scored it at 5 1/2″.

I laid my gift inside then used tear tape on the bottom and the side. I leave the gift inside as I adhere it down so it can adjust to the size. Make sure to kind of burnish the areas that you used the tear tape so it stays together. Sometimes tear tape doesn’t stay if it’s not burnished well enough.

How perfect is this gift? Hydrating socks! See perfect for those on their feet all day! It even its men! I found this at Big Lots I think for a dollar or so. You can probably find them at Walmart or Ulta. I added a little tab to the top to make it easier to pull out. I die cut the flagged banner from the Farmhouse Christmas bundle out of Cherry Cobbler. I stapled it on, make sure to do this where its not too far down on the package so it doesn’t leak out.

The layer of Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper on the front is cut to 7 1/4″ by 5 1/4″. I adhered it with liquid glue. Wood Texture Designer Series Paper is cut to 1 1/2″ by 6 1/2″ and flagged at the end. I adhered it with liquid glue as well.

For the sentiment I stamped the whole sentiment in Cherry Cobbler onto Very Vanilla. I then die cut just the Merry Christmas out with the stitched banner from the coordinating framelits. I added some tear tape to the back and swirled some of the Very Vanilla colored Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine. I then added Stampin’ Dimensionals and placed on top of this fun stitched piece. The stitched layer is from the Stitched Labels framelits and I die cut it from Cherry Cobbler. I added the whole sentiment layer to the card with some more Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Last but never least I added some rhinestones!
