2018 Holiday Catalog, Annual 2018-2019, Autumn, Designer Series Paper, Embossing

Many, Many Thanks

I am so thankful it’s Thursday! I’m looking forward to the weekend! Plus I get to enjoy a Sincerely Yours, stamp class tonight creating Halloween Treats! Today’s card uses many elements but it’s a cute simple card.

I started with a Cajun Craze card base. I then layered a piece of this beautiful white wood plank wood Designer Series Paper from the Festive Farmhouse pack. It’s 4″ by 5 1/4″. I added it to the card base with liquid glue.

Next I stamped the many thanks sentiment multiple times onto some Whisper White card stock with Memento black ink. I die cut it out with the second largest circle from the Stitched Shapes framelit dies. I then glue it to the card base with liquid glue.

Next I die cut the large circle and second largest out of Cajun Craze with the Stitched Shapes to create a frame. I added the frame with lots of mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Next I worked on these fun leaf elements.

One set was just Copper Foil sheets punched with the Leaf punch. I punched out two sets of these.

Next I stamped the Buffalo Check in Memento Black onto Whisper White. Using the Stamparatus with the Buffalo Check background stamp makes it easier than the large acrylic block.

I then stamped the leaves from the Rooted in Nature bundle onto the Buffalo Check n VersaMark. I then added clear embossing and heat set. Then I die cut the leaves out with the coordinating framelit dies from the Rooted in Nature bundle. I used one large and one small leaf.

Now time to layer up the leaves with glue dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Next I added a Galvanized Button with some of the Braided Linen Thread threaded through it and double knotted it and frayed the edges. I added the button with glue dots.

Last I wanted to add some rust bling ha I took some Cajun Craze reinker and some of the new Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint added it to the top of an acrylic block. Then I took the Aqua Painter to mix the reinker and shimmer paint. I then took the top of the Aqua Paint and flicked the edge to add splatters to the card.

Here’s the long list of supplies I used to create this card. You could simplify it by not embossing the leaves, not adding the splatter. If you don’t have the Big Shot you could also use punches.
