2018 Holiday Catalog, Annual 2018-2019, Halloween

Buffalo Plaid Halloween

Hey there stampers! I am so excited to share today’s card with you! It features my Product of the Week the Caldron Bubble Bundle. It’s a super cute Halloween stamp set and coordinating framelit dies. I don’t normally do much Halloween projects but I couldn’t help it this year with this cute suite.

Oct 2

I started with a Basic Black card base. Next I cut a piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock at 4″ by 5 1/4″. I then used the Subtle Dynamic Textures Impressions Embossing Folder. I ran it through the Big Shot and created this amazing texture!

I then stamped the Buffalo Plaid background stamp set using the Stamparatus. I used Gorgeous Grape ink to stamp onto Whisper White. I ran it through the Big Shot cutting out the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes framelits.

Next adhere the circle onto the Pumpkin Pie card front. Now I used this thick Satin Black ribbon and wrapped it around the card front adhering it with Tear Tape in the back. Now adhere the card front with liquid glue.

I stamped Happy Halloween onto a strip of Whisper White then added it with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then punched out a Starburst out of the Black Foil paper. It is an amazing new foil paper that can be used for so many different projects. I added the Starburst to the card with some Stampin’ Dimensionals and some liquid glue.

Time to work on this witch. I stamped it with Memento Black ink since I used Stampin’ Blends. I used dark and light Pumpkin Pie, dark and light Rich Razzleberry, light Daffodil Delight and, Cherry Cobbler. I like using the light blend first then add the dark in the shadow area then go back with the light. Once it was colored I die cut it with the coordinating die.

The card would have been fine like this but I love adding bows and embellishments for some bling. I created a bow and added it with a glue dot. Last I added a Red rhinestone.
