Witch Hats

I’m usually not one that creates much Halloween project but this Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper is just too cute not to! I just can’t get enough of the color and images! This paper has amazing watercolor witch hat images.

I started off with Basic Black card base. I then used a piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock piece that measures 4″ by 5 1/4″. I did a fun technique to it. I took the spider web die framelit from the Cauldron Bubble bundle and used it to emboss the layer. This is done with a new product in our annual catalog, the Big Shot Embossing Mat. This mat allows you to use a die framelit as an embossing tool. I moved it around in different positions on the paper to get a better pattern.

Then I cut a piece of Basic Black card stock at 3 1/4″ by 4 1/4″. I also cut the designer series paper to 3″ by 4″. I then attached them together with liquid glue. I wrapped this awesome Black Glitter Organdy Ribbon around this layer and tied it into a knot. I then added it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I punched out the new Black Foil with the 2″ punch and added it with liquid glue. I die the witches hat then used Stampin’ Dimensionals to add it to the card. I cut the hat in half to make it look a little larger. I added them to the back of sentiment with tear tape. I stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape then flagged the edges. I then added the hat and sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Last but never least. I added some bling! It’s Gorgeous Grape Glitter Enamel Dot. They come in 4 different colors.
