I enjoy getting little birthday freebies from restaurants, Happy Mail and of course cake! Not only is it my birthday month but Stampin’ Up!® Holiday Catalogues live in just one day!
I can not wait for you to see the catalog if you have not already! I will having a Facebook Catalog Kick Off Wednesday night and I’ll be share lots of fun samples, videos and more! The PDF will be posted here on my blog on Wednesday too.
So this week’s Product of the Week is one of my first favorites in the new Holiday Catalog…
The Country Lane Designer Series Paper! It is so pretty and just perfect for Autumn creating! Autumn is one of my favorite seasons! It doesn’t start until September 22 but it’s the perfect time to start creating and decorating for it!
Today’s card starts off with an Early Espresso card base. I then did some layering! I love layers, you knew that right? hehe The next layer up is a piece of Blackberry Bliss cut at 3 3/4″ by 5 1/2″. Next was a layer of Whisper White at 3 1/2″ by 5 1/2″. Next is the new Designer Series Paper! I used the pattern that has both white and orange pumpkins. This layer is 3″ by 5 1/2″. I added each of the layers with liquid glue. Tombow liquid glue is amazing! It is multipurpose glue and duo tip.
Next I tied this beautiful Silver Metallic Edged Ribbon around the whole card and just double knotted it.
For the top layer I stamped this cute milk jar with this Autumn-y bouquet onto a piece of Whisper White. The stamps I’m using on this card are from the new Country Home stamp set. I actually cut down a scrap I had but it is about 2 3/8″ by 4 1/8″. I stamped it in Blackberry Bliss.
I took a piece of vellum and stamped the sentiment in VersaMark then used Gold Embossing Powder then heat set it. The vellum piece is a 1/4″ more on each side than the Whisper White piece. I added some glue dots to a few places on the vellum then attached it to the Whisper White. I then turned it over and scored the edges next to the edge of the white piece so it would make it easier to wrap them around the back an adhere with some tear tape.
The last touches I added some of these Mint Macaron Faceted Dots. I used them to cover the glue dots I used in the flower bouquet area.
