Annual Catalog 2017-2018, Designer Series Paper, OnStage

Tranquil Rose Card

This one the card I created for swaps for OnStage in Atlanta! I put a lot of time into these and it was so much fun to swap them out with other demos!! Next OnStage I want to make like triple the amount of swaps! I was sad when I ran out!

Since I haven’t shared my card on a blog post yet I thought I’d also highlight a fun weekly challenge blog called what will you stamp? They pick a stamp set weekly then you can link up your project that used that set. It’s a great way to get inspiration for stamp sets you might already own! Check out their stamp tab to see what sets they have already done challenges for! Click their image below to go to this weeks challenge using the Petal Palette stamp set! Don’t forget to join in on the fun too!

This card had a lot of layers to it! It had the card base which was Tranquil Tide then the next layer was Very Vanilla, then a piece of the Coffee Break designer series paper. Then I had a layer of either Berry Burst or Fresh Fig depending on which ribbon and roses that  were on the card.

Here’s the Fresh Fig one,

here’s the Berry Burst one!

I am so excited that these colors will be around for another year! The two things that are retiring on this card is the Coffee Break designer series paper and the ribbon. We have some other In-Color ribbon coming but I will miss this kind! The Petal Palette will no longer be in a bundle though so if you would like the extra 10% off then order it before the end of May!

I stamped the rose cluster on the Very Vanilla thats behind the designer series paper and die cut it. This lets me not waste as much card stock! Then I used that die cut for the top to add some dimension to the card. I added it on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added some Wink of Stella to make it stand out more than the rose cluster that I stamped on the Very Vanilla behind it.

I did stamp a piece of Very Vanilla with the rose cluster for the inside of the card as well. Anytime you have a dark card base it is good to add in a Whisper White or Very Vanilla layer so your card can be written in.

This has been one of my favorite cards I have made in the past little while! I just love all the layers it has and this stamp set and die bundle is just so pretty!

Here’s the supply list for everything I used on the cards! I added a couple rhinestones to the opposite corners for some more bling!
