Annual Catalog 2017-2018, Designer Series Paper

Butterfly Wings

Wow OnStage was amazing and there is so much info to share over the next month! You have probably already saw the Color Revamp, if not check out my post from yesterday. Then the retired list has gone live and that is overwhelming!

I know the hard part is you will want to get your hands on the new things but sadly customers have to wait until it goes live in June. Now if you joined my team you will be able to preorder in May!

Sadly we also learned about all that will be retiring too. Now I think that is the hardest part even as a demonstrator. We get to see what’s new but it’s always sad to see some of our favorites leave. I have a stack of inks and stamps that are retiring and it is making my heart hurt!

I am sad to be saying bye to this beautiful color Sweet Sugarplum! 😦 I loved using it the past 2 years! Now I always welcome new colors to love, its just hard to say bye to our favorites. By now the In-Colors are probably completely gone. It’s ok the new colors will be awesome I promise!

I made this cute simple project with some Easter Sixits candy. This is the first time I have seen them in a tube which I love! I wanted to dress the tube up  little so I could gift it away.

So I used the beautiful Petal Garden designer series paper! If you want some you better get your hands on it quick if its not already gone! Everything but stamp sets are while supplies last. 😦 Well I found a Sweet Sugarplum piece of DSP and used it to wrap the top of the tube. I didn’t want to hide the candies, because their colors are cheerful and bright.

Then I die cut the smaller butterfly out of the same pattern DSP. I die cut the largest butterfly out of some Pool Party card stock. I adhered the two butterflies together then tied them to the tube with some Whisper White Organza ribbon. Then added a rhinestone to use the top of the Sweet Sugarplum butterfly. I’m sad to say the butterflies are leaving us too! 😦 There will be a new butterfly die but a different style.

See a simple project but we have to remember how dressing up something simple can really bring a smile to someones face! I hope where you are that Spring has brought some sun and warmer weather.

These are the supplies I used for this project. If you would like to join my team to be first in line to purchase the new products from the annual 2018-2019 catalog then see my Join Now tab or email me if you have any questions. There are no obligations if you decide to join. I welcome hobbyists!
