This post will be going live as I am among many other Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators enjoying small conventions throughout the US! The one I’m at is in Atlanta, GA! I am so thankful for my Great Aunt Pat for letting us stay with her while my mom and I are here!
I wanted to share what I made for swaps! Anytime demonstrators come together you best believe there is a swap.
What is a swap? A swap is when you trade your projects for someone else’s project. There are organized swaps that have themes and guidelines. Then there are general swaps that anyone can make a project they want and swap with any demonstrate that wants to swap. I’m doing the general swap.
I started making these cute candy treats because who doesn’t love a little sweet pick me up during a long day of seeing the new annual catalog and learning new techniques?!
That’s right as demonstrators we get to see the new annual 2018-2019 catalog before anyone else. Now that’s not to brag. Well maybe a little hehe If you become a demonstrator you get to get your hands on the product before customers. I’m so glad Stampin’ Up! allows us to do that. We then become familiar with the products so when anyone has questions we can answer.
We are under Spoiler Policy! We can’t share anything until Monday afternoon. But if you follow some of the hashtags on Facebook and Instagram you may be able to spy some things if some people didn’t do a good job hiding. It’s fun, it’s like Easter Egg Hunting!! hehe That’s what I would do when I was not at one.

I will be sharing what I can over on my Facebook page throughout the day. Monday be on the look out on my Facebook page for info on when I will go Live showing you the swaps I received! Then Tuesday I will do a post about my swaps and more OnStage goodies!!
Ok so let me share what I created for my swaps. I used the Color Theory designer series paper. This paper will retire. I have never seen designer series paper carry over. But they did say that the Wood Texture designer series paper will be carrying over since it has been so popular! Yay!
Ok back to the swaps…
I cut them into 2″ strips and used the Tag Topper Punch to make this cute tag top. Punch both ends then I added my gummies in with some glue dots.
The sentiment “Just Because” comes from the stamp set called A Good Day. I used the new coordinating 1 3/8″ scallop circle punch. Each one I used the coordinating color for the ink and the card stock for the 1 1/2″ circle punch. I layered them together and added them to the tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Then I used some White Organza ribbon to tie the tops together.
Here’s the supplies I used for the project. I love how they turned out and I can’t wait to swap with fellow demonstrators!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you check out the hashtags to see if you can spy anything new! Remember to stop by my Facebook page Monday to see when I will go live to share the swaps I received and what new goodies I’ll be sharing!
If you order use my monthly Hostess Code so I can send you a thank you gift. If your order is over $150 please don’t use the code, so you can get the Stampin’ Rewards. I will still send you a thank you gift! Hostess Code: HEV2NCPJ If you would like a catalog, live in the US and, don’t already have a demonstrator please contact me and I will send you one!
