2017 Holiday Catalog, Creative Convention, Designer Series Paper

Treats No Tricks

As the end of the year draws closer the busier I feel. This week my mom and I are adding last minute touches for a craft fair that is this Saturday! Craft fairs are a lot of work but most of the time it pays off in either meeting some great customers, vendors or things sell well. I’m hoping for all three! Craft fairs make me step out of my comfort zone in a couple ways. I’m a night owl so waking up early is hard to do lol I go to bed late and sleep late, I have an artist schedule. I’m an introvert so talking to a lot of people over a short period of time isn’t easy. But I do love seeing others enjoy what I create knowing they are gifting it or keeping it for themselves to enjoy.

I look forward to the craft fair! This is one is called a Gift Gala, so I’m hoping to get some early Christmas shopping done as well!! hehe I’ll share more pictures Saturday or Monday! I may even go live on my Hope Paper Creations Facebook Page at the Gift Gala so make sure you like my page and have the notifications on!

Ok, ok onto the fun Autumn projects! These three projects were make & takes from Creative Convention by Ronda Wade Holiday Catalog edition!

This first one is a fun door hanger treat box that Erica Cerwin, my upline, from Pink Buckaroo created for one of the sessions. I changed out the stamp set since I didn’t have the one she used. She used this as a “Boo Box” which you fill with goodies and leave it on your neighbors door, ring the door bell and leave. Then they have to do a ” Boo Treat” for someone else. Its like a Random Act o Kindness that others continue to spread throughout the neighborhood or friends and family.

Want to know a secret? If you join my team you will also be under Erica and get many perks from both of us!

This next project was also designed by Erica Cerwin! She is so creative! I love that she’s my upline! This is a cute little treat bag that was made from a 6×6 designer series paper from the Quilted Christmas stack. I love when we can make more than just one holiday from a product that is mainly one specific holiday! This time it was a Fall project instead of Christmas.

Do you spy my cute real pumpkin in the picture? I love getting small pumpkins for decor in my house!

What would you put in this treat bag?

The last project I want to share today was designed by Ronda Wade. She is amazing too!! She designed this cute little open box that your can stick a treat inside. I changed it a little because I didn’t have all the supplies but I love how it turned out still!

She used the awesome new sponge brayers that Stampin’ Up! has. I haven’t ordered any yet but have seen them used and they are better than a regular brayer which is what I used.

I also changed the stamp since I didn’t have the one she used. I love this sentiment from Painted Harvest. Also check out that cool ribbon with the Pumpkin Pie edging!

I love training and learning from those that I look up to! When you CASE a project, do you like changing up the sentiment or usually go with that they had? I love the option. Sometimes I keep it the same and other times I change it because I want something different or I don’t have that set.
