This summer has gone by way too quickly! I’m not a fan of hot weather, but I enjoy the summer for many reasons. Here’s just my top 3!
1.) Pool time! We inflate a kids pool and it is great! Enjoy an adult beverage, cool down in the pool and maybe get a hint of a tan.
2.) The food! During summer the fruit and vegetables that are summer crops make for some of the yummiest foods to grill!
3.) Flip Flops! I am a flip flop girl!! They are my go to shoes. During the summer you can find some really cute ones!
One of my favorite stores to get inspiration is Bath & Body Works! Their hand sanitizers are my favorite product, followed by their candles and their seasonal hand soaps!
This cute little box was made the same way my spline Erica Cerwin from Pink Buckaroo Designs did it in her video. Check it out here: Hand Sanitizer Tutorial
I didn’t add any designer series paper. The back piece is just a whisper white card stock stamped with the sprinkles from the Cool Treats stamp set. Then I stamped and fussy cut the popsicle. I wanted the popsicle smaller than the size that it stamps so I trimmed it down. I added a touch of Fine Tip Glue to add a slight shine to it.
I create two more simple cute cards with the Cool Treats stamp set. This next one I used Powder Pink, Sweet Sugarplum and Berry Burst. I stamped some of the sprinkles on the background of the card with the Powder Pink, which is the color of the card base.
I used just a sliver of a Sweet Sugarplum paper from the Petal Garden designer series paper. Stamped a two part sentiment. You’re Sweet is in Soft Suede and Berry Burst ink. Then the sentiment on the bottom is in Berry Burst. Added the fine tip glue again to the popsicles and some rhinestones.
This next card I tried to make gender neutral. I love the In-Color Lemon lime Twist! It is such a fun bright color! Here I used the designer series paper Wood Textures. I used the Happiest Birthday from Cool Treats stamp set. Ripped the paper, curled and stapled the designer series paper and added it with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The tied Basic Black baker’s twine to the side of the card.
Those are the three fun projects i put together using the Cool Treats stamp set! I hope you liked them and give the hand sanitizer box a try! They make for cute office or teacher gifts!
